Gerald Casey and Harold Sonnenberg joined in a hand that started with Kwangsuk Yuh raising preflop. At the flop of 2♦ 5♣ 4♠, Sonnenberg checked to Yuh who continued with a 6400 bet. Casey folded but Sonnenberg stuck with Yuh. On the turn of 8♠, they checked. On the river of 3♠, Sonnenberg checked, Yuh bet 9k, and after debating if he should call or not, Sonnenberg smiled to Yuh and reluctantly dumped in the call. Yuh mucked and Sonnenberg won the pot without a showdown.
Gerald Casey was able to capitalize on his fantastic hand that began with him raising to 6k on the button. Small blind player Seung Soo Jeon called and the flop was dealt K♦ J♦ 9♥. Both players checked for a free turn of 10♦. Jeon checked, Casey bet 20k, and Jeon called. On the river of 10♣, Jeon checked again, Casey bet 30k, and Jeon flat-called. Casey won the hand with his 10♥ 10♠ quads against Jeon’s A♣ Q♦ straight. Nice hand!
With lots of action prior to the turn board of 6♦ 10♠ K♥ 8♣, Vladimir Geshkenbein bet 16.5k into the big pile of chips weighing down the middle. Kwan Kit Kwok pumped it up even more with a raise to 35k. Geshkenbein called and the river was dealt 2♥. Geshkenbein checked to Kwok who banged out 50k and Geshkenbein replied with an all in of over 80k chips. Kwok called and it was a sick showdown.

Action began with Terry Gonzaga raising to 4500 only to get popped to 13k by Jim Bonanno. Gonzaga called and the flop was dealt Q♣ J♠ 9♠. Gonzaga checked, Bonanno pushed his stack of over 50k, and Gonzaga gave up his stake on the pot.
Nick Blackburn faced off against Andrei Dementev in a hand that had a 5k raise by Blackburn on the button and called by Dementev to defend his big blind. At the flop of 9♦ A♦ 6♣, Dementev checked to Blackburn who bet 7k and Dementev called. The turn of J♣ saw both players check. With the river of 2♥, Dementev changed gears and bet 9k. Blackburn doubled it up to 18k and won the pot with Dementev folding up.
Vladimir Geshkenbein is clearly one of the aggressive players at his table, always on the move to take a bit of control. He kicked off this hand with a raise to 4500, was called by Terry Gonzaga and Kwan Kit Kwok, then an all in by Tetsuya Tsuchikawa to 17.4k. Geshkenbein called and the others folded.

Dong Hyun Kim and Lim Yo Hwan stared down a flop of 10♥ 8♥ 9♦. Hyun bet 3800 and Hwan called. At the turn of 3♠, Hyun bet 6k and Hwan raised to 16k. Hyun thought for a bit then folded.
Short stacked players Slaven Popov and Jun Saito were both all in with Popov ahead in chips. Popov had K♥ Q♠ and Saito had 10♠ 10♥. The board ran K♦ 6♣ 4♣ giving Popov the lead but when the turn was 10♦, Saito reclaimed it with a set. The river of 3♣ doubled up Saito and Popov spiraled down to around 6k.
