Razavi vs Malzanini

With a preflop raise to 5500, Sam Razavi called and both he and Julius Malzanini watched the dealer spread 9 2 Q. Malzanini continued and dropped 8500 passed the betting line and Razavi called. The turn of 7 had both check. The river of J had Malzanini check once more while Razavi bet 6800. Malzanini folded and Razavi won a nice pile of chips.


Botho muscles Sayo for the pot

Level: 15 Blinds: 1200-2400 Ante: 400

With a pot of 15k collected during preflop and flop bets, the board of A Q 6 9 saw Thong Botho checking to John Sayo who bet 7k. Botho went all in for 27.1k more and Sayo folded.


Gonzaga sends Hyungki Kim to the rail

Level: 15 Blinds: 1200-2400 Ante: 400

Another player goes bust, Hyungki Kim was eliminated by Terry Gonzaga. In an all in preflop situation, Gonzaga called with pocket nines and Kim had ace-king. Though not needed, Gonzaga landed a full house and Kim was sent to the rail.


No callers for the short stack Labadan

As the shortest stack at his table, Renato Labadan moved all in with 8900 but got no callers. He collects the blinds and antes.


Big stack battle: Jeon vs Sonnenberg

Level: 15 Blinds: 1200-2400 Ante: 400

Now that we are down to three tables, the big stacks have a harder time avoiding each other. In this hand, action began with Gerald Casey raising to 8k, big stacked Harold Sonnenberg called, another big stack Seung Soo Jeon three-bet to 27.5k, Casey folded, and Sonnenberg called.

At the flop of 4 8 9, Jeon bet 37.5k and Sonnenberg called again. At the turn of 10 and river of K, they both opted to check back to each other and Jeon won the hand with A K as Sonnenberg mucked.

Jeon now over 300k.


Preflop war between Edoc and Bonanno

A preflop war had Jim Bonanno raising to 5k followed by Lester Edoc to 14k, then a shove by Bonanno. Edoc folded and Bonanno showed his hand while scooping the pot A 9.


Yogo railed by Byeongcheol Kim

Level: 15 Blinds: 1200-2400 Ante: 400

With tables breaking and merging, Iori Yogo didn’t have time to warm up his seat, instead he got bumped off the field. Starting with a 5k raise by Seung Soo Jeon, Byeongcheol Kim called then Yogo moved all in with 22.6k chips. Initial raiser Jeon thought better to fold but Kim opted for the reverse and called. Yogo had 8 8 and Kim had A Q. The board ran Q 2 3 A 7 and with two pairs, Kim eliminated Yogo.

 


Sonnenberg eliminates Dee, goes over 200k

Level: 15 Blinds: 1200-2400 Ante: 400

Harold Sonnenberg has been on slow and constant rise all day today. He earned more chips after eliminating Hii Hieng Dee early in this level. With heavy action leading to this board 9 A 6 7, action continued with Dee going all in for 30k. Sonnenberg snap-called and it was a showdown. Dee had A K for top pair with Sonnenberg had 6 7 for two pairs. The river of J sealed the win and Dee exited the field. Sonnenberg over 200k.


Tsuchikwa continues with a double up

Level: 14 Blinds: 1000-2000 Ante: 300

Seems like all the hands we’ve been catching from Tetsuya Tsuchikawa are well earned double up. This was another one of those hands. With a pot of 30k already in the middle and the dealer revealing the turn card of this board K 10 J 7, Tsuchikawa went all in for 23.8k and Kwan Kit Kwok called. Tsuchikawa was ahead with 10 7 two pairs while Kwok was drawing with Q 6. The river of J was good for Tsuchikawa and he was shipped a sweet double up.
