Small pots being won at the tables right now. In this hand, Simba raised to 150 and was called by Ed Silvano on the cutoff and Kevin Hii on the small blind. At the flop of 8♠ K♥ Q♥, Hii checked, Simba continued and be 275, was called by Silvano, and Hii folded. River of 8♥ had Simba checking to Silvano who bet 875, and Simba quickly let it go.
John Kim just lost a hand with his pocket kings and was down to almost half stack. Immediately after, he received another pair of kings in his hand and went toe-to-toe with Byeongcheol Kim who had pocket jacks after a drawn out preflop war. The board ran 7♥ 4♦ J♣ J♠ 2♥ giving Byeongcheol quads and John the boot just 20 mins into the first level.
William Kang raised to 150 and was joined by three callers to see the flop of A♠ J♥ 6♦. Action was checked to Kang who bet 275, got raised to 725 by Sungchang Park, a fold by two players, then called by Kang. At the turn of 7♥, Kang and Park checked. Then on the river of 7♣, Kang checked once more, Park bet 2k, and Kang called. Park mucked without a showdown. Kang was awarded the pot.
Action began with a raise by the utg player to 150, a re-raise by Kai Paulsen to 500, a call by Jong Yeol Lee, then a fold by the initial raiser. The flop ran 10♥ 3♦ K♥ and both players checked. At the turn of A♦, Paulsen bet 600 and Lee called. On the river of 8♠, both checked and Lee won the hand with his K♠ Q♠ over Paulsen’s pocket jacks.
Simba (Sim Jae Kyung) and two other players were in a raised pot preflop and saw the dealer felt 10♣ 9♦ 5♦. Simba bet 575, Kenneth Buck called, and so did Jacob Dy. At the turn of 4♥, Simba continued and laid out 1275, and was called again by both players. On the river of 2♣, Simba moved all in and this time there were no callers.
