Anthony Thong Boon Tee dusts John Tech

Anthony Thong Boon Tee scooped up two pots to send him to 250k. In the process, he railed John Tech. The first pot he won was a double up through Iori Yogo. It was all in preflop. Tee with A K, Yogo Q Q, the board paired both his cards as it ran 2 7 2 K A.

Next hand, he shipped all of Tech’s stack with A 9 over K Q on a board that ran low with no hits for either.


Matt Ericson sends Eunho Kwon packing

The day’s entering chip leader Eunho Kwon couldn’t survive the action today. After losing a large portion of his stack to Aditya Sushant before the break, he returned and was all in on a few hands that eventually sent him packing. The first one was J 6 against shorter stacked Matt Ericson’s qc} 9. The board ran 8 K 9 7 6 and with no spades for either, Ericson doubled up.

The next all in, Ericson shoved on utg, Kwon called with less on the big blind. Ericson K J, Kwon with Q J, the board bricked.

Just before the break, co Sushant won a huge pot against bb Eunho Kwon. On a turn board 6 A A K, a massive pot was in the middle and Kwon sent out more with a 100k bet. Sushant called. On the Q river, both checked and Kwon had to show his attempted 7 3 bluff. Sushant shipped the pot with A J trips.

 


Win some lose some for Aditya Sushant

Aditya Sushant has towers built in front of him. He sits with around 350K. We caught a couple of pots he was involved in. The first one saw a completed board 7 3 4 8 K, he bet 20k from the big blind and db Cao Ngoc Anh tank-folded.

Two handsl later, Sushant raised from the button and Henrik Tollefsen defended on the bb. At the flop 3 5 J, both checked. On the K turn, Sushant fired 10k and Tollefsen check-called. On the 9 river, back to checking and Tollefsen won with A 10. Sushant mucked.


John Tech tanks to Madhav Gupta

big blind John Tech tanked at a 20k bet by utg Madhav Gupta with the board showing 8 2 3 K 8. He eventually folded and hoped Gupta would show but didn’t. Gupta said “20 thousand”.


Rex Clinkscales crippled to 1 bb by Andrew Nguyen

Preflop raise war between Rex Clinkscales and Andrew Nguyen. Nguyen raised to 6500, Clinkscales three-bet to 19.5k, Nguyen four-bet to 38.5k, Clinkscales all in, and snap-called by Nguyen.

The board bricked and with about even chips, Nguyen doubled up while Clinkscales was down to 3k. Clinkscales stormed off and blinded out.


Masaki Fujitani wins some off Dungca

Three players entered this hand with it running to the river 4 10 5 J 8. Jin Yong checked, Buddy Dungca bet 8k, Masaki Fujitani raised to 21.5k, Yong folded, Dungca called. Fujitani showed 7 6 for a straight and the win with Dungca folding.


Czardy Rivera busts to Iori Yogo

Two decorated APT champions battled. Czardy Rivera was at risk holding A-Q against Iori Yogo’s A 10. Despite Rivera ahead, the board favored Yogo as it ran 10 2 10 2 7. Rivera was eliminated.
