On a raised pot preflop and the board showing 9 2 5, big blind decorated APT major champion John Tech checked, Madhav Gupta bet 4500, Luen Hei Kwok called. back to Tech with the call. On the 7 turn, all checked. on the 9 river, Tech led for 11.5k and found no takers.


Cao Ngoc Anh rising up

One of the decorated Championships Event player in the field is Vietnam’s own Cao Ngoc Anh. We just saw him win a couple of pots. His first one was up against the day’s entering chip leader, Eunho Kwon. On a flop 3 6 8 with a raised pot brewed prior, Anh checked, Kwon bet 5k, Anh raised to 18k, and a fold from Kwon. The next one was a an three-bet from 3500 to 11.5 that also got a fold.

Among those picked up today are local superstars Lester Edoc, Czardy Rivera, and Mike Takayama. Martin Gonzales has also joined, Seongsu Kong, Luen Hei Kwok, Yuri Ishida, and Jae Wook Shin.
