Lindblom is the first ever APT Asian Series Champion

The festivities at the APT Asian Series Cebu ended with a bang after Swedish player Andreas Lindblom grabbed the title after winning over Filipino Jay Lubas in the heads-up round of the Main Event in the All In Poker Club at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City Philippines.

The APT Asian Series Cebu Main Event had a total of 126 runners with a total prize pool of PHP 5,683,200.Lindblom went home with the first-place cash of PHP 1,875,300 as Lubas settled for 2nd and PHP 1,023,000. For complete payout list, visit www.pokerportal.asia

This concludes what was a very successful run of the first staging of the APT Asian Series, the newest poker series in the region. Seven side events also happened earlier this. The most notables of which were the record-breaking attendance at the 5th Cebu Open, which was won by Filipino Jessie Leonarez; and the APT Asian Series Charity Event where Indonesian Anton Widjaya a percentage of his own winnings to the Cebu Parks and Playground Foundation!

This coming March, the APT returns with the APT Philippines 2011 for what would be another week-long festival of poker.
