Last 59 in Main Event begin battle for ITM, Final 8; Short Deck highlights Side Events

INCHEON CITY, Korea – The Asian Poker Tour (APT) Korea Incheon 2022 Main Event is ten eliminations away from ITM and that will be foremost in the minds of the 59 that remain contesting a chunk of the now KRW942,840,000 (US$659,740) guaranteed prize pool as Day 3 plays out at the Paradise City Hotel and Casino here.

Day 3 commences at 1:00PM (UCT+9).

Overnight chip-leader  Chan Yu Hoi of Hong Kong is in the best position to be among the 49 that will get paid at least KRW4M (US$2,799) when the action resumes at Level 17 with the Blinds at 2,500/5,000 (5,000 BB Ante).

Chan has a thus far commanding lead with 527,000 in chips in a field where the average stack is 205,900 and half the remaining contenders having less than that.

They will be playing down to the Final 8 and will reconvene tomorrow (25th October) for the grand finale at 1:30PM. 

The champion will get a staggering KRW198,228,000 (US$138,760).

Meanwhile, (Event #14) the Short Deck NLH adds spice to the Side Event menu happening later at 2:00PM alongside (Event #15) the fourth KRW3.2M (US$2,237) single-day High-Rollers which begins at 3:00PM. (Event #16) the second running of the Deep Stack Turbo (DST) takes flight at 6:00PM.
