The structure is deep with blinds increasing at a gradual 60 minute pace. The APT utilizes the Ante Big Blind format. Full structure.
- The “ANTE BB” format utilizes the ante first rule before the big blind. This rule applies in the event that the big blind player cannot cover the full amount of both the ANTE and BB.
- The “ANTE BB” structure remains the same regardless of the number of players at a table.

Entries: multiple; best stack forward rule
Starting stack: 25,000 (500x opening blinds 25-50)
Registration: closes at the start of Level 10 in Day 2

Day 3: Monday, June 3 – play to Final 8 players

Already seen at the festival is series Main Event defending champion Jin Woo Kim. Kim claimed the victory last year right here at Grand Walkerhill Paradise Casino. He overcame a field of 170 entries. Good luck to him at the tables as he hunts down a second title and the first APT Korea Seoul “Golden Lion “Main Event Trophy.

Bubble protection
The APT continues to offer a fantastic promo to all Main Event attendees, the Main Event Bubble Protection. This is a type of insurance for players on the bubble round. If a protected player falls on the bubble, then that player will receive his/her buy-in back in the form of APT tournament credits. To be eligible, all you need to do is follow these three simple steps:
- Pre-register
- Draw for your seat before starting time
- Have your chips put into play before the first hand is dealt
*Important notes:
- For re-entry players, if you have already met the qualifications for Bubble Protection, you will maintain that status only on a same day re-entry.
- For re-entry players wanting Bubble Protection on the next starting day, you will have to repeat the steps above. This also applies to players going for multiple stacks.
- Tournament credits are only valid for one (1) year.
Dafabet APT Survivor promo
Take advantage of another great incentive, the Dafabet APT Survivor which is a last man standing promo offered only at the Main Event. The last player remaining at the Main Event wearing the Dafabet patch will receive a seat to APT Vietnam Ho Chi Minh 2019 taking place in July.
