Day 4 results: Aman Parakh ships the Mini Main; Ritwik Khanna, Deepak Choudhary, Shubham Rai, “Casadeseo” win events; Championship Event 50L tonight

Wednesday at APT India Online Series 2022 hauled in a large crowd of 3,046 entries across five events. In the aftermath, walking away the richest was Aman “Karmapoker” Parakh at the Mini Main Event. Other winners were “casadeseo”, Deepak “sabJuwaaHai” Choudhary, Shubham “Don903” Rai, and Ritwik “Ritwikkhanna” Khanna.

We are now halfway through the series. More titles and APT trophies have yet to be claimed so don’t miss out. A collective IN₹ 3,27,58,600 has already been paid out. Games run through February 6 at India online partner PokerBaazi.com. Up next is the featured Championship Event 50L GTD. Day 4 results

APT #19: Mini Main Event –  AMAN “Karmapoker” PARAKH – IN₹ 8,60,500 (~US$ 11,484)

The most popular event of the day was the featured Mini Main Event 50L with 469 coming out and 516 re-entries for 985 total entries. This was the largest series turnout to date however it still resulted in a small overlay of IN₹ 75K. It was a grueling race to reach the finish line, taking nearly 10.5 hours to complete. The final table ran for 1.5 hours with Aman “Karmapoker” Parakh and Vineet “whale” Kumar going heads up for the title.

The chip lead exchanged numerous times until Parakh landed a huge double up holding A A against Kumar’s 8 8. Kumar recovered some of the lost chips but still stayed behind. The final hand saw Parakh’’s A Q overcards spike the ace to dust Kumar’s 6 6. This was Parakh’s third ever APT win and first of the series. He earned his first ever APT Trophy and a cool IN₹ 8,60,500.

APT #17: 5L GTD – “Casadeseo” – IN₹ 1,00,500 (~US$ 1,334)


Day 4 action kicked off with the 5L GTD No Limit Hold’em tournament drawing 434 total entries. This however was not enough to meet the guarantee resulting in a IN₹ 66K overlay. Once the final table was formed, Guruprasad “fish_calling” Gupta was up top but twenty minutes in, he was overtaken by anonymous player “casadeseo” courtesy of a double knockout to Chanti “Majay” Nayak and Mohammad “chandlerbing” Azhar. From there, the leader bulldozed through the rest of the field, building a 5:1 advantage by heads up. It only took one hand to finish off Rajneesh “msdhoni” Thakur to claim the win and the IN₹ 1,00,500 first prize. This was casadeseo’s first recorded APT victory.

The KO Bounty event pulled in 239 players and 167 re-entries for a 406 entry field. This was just enough to surge past the 5L guarantee for a IN₹ 5,07,500 prize pool. Final table action gave rise to Abhishek “rekop” Kushwaha who outdrew Shekhar “Shakyshark” Singh when his K Q improved to quad kings to dust A Q. Kushwaha’s ascent continued, amassing an enormous stack after finishing off Sunday Major winner Anurag “13anurag” Srivastava in 4th place. However, the advantage didn’t last. The three handed round was fully dominated by Deepak “sabJuwaaHai” Choudhary who went on to rail Rohan “theoldrod” Sahni in 3rd place with A A over 9 9, then quickly closed it out with A 9 crushing Kushwaha’s 8 9 on a board A 2 2 K 3. He earned IN₹ 1,05,000 for his victory and an added IN₹ 2,250 in bounty rewards.

Just before the crack of dawn, the Superstack event came to a close with Ritwik “Ritwikkhanna” Khanna crushing the final table to capture his third ever APT career win and first at this series. Down to six players, Khanna held a commanding stack that would not be breached. Despite doubling up several short stacks, he was never in danger of elimination. His final hand was Q Q dominating A 10. For his achievement, Khanna scooped up the IN₹ 3,54,070 first prize.

APT #21: 6-Max Turbo – SHUBHAM “Don903” RAI – IN₹ 2,78,303 (~US$ 3,708)



The battle for the 6-Max Turbo top prize came down between the previous night’s Megastack champion Laksh Pal “boomtlt23” Singh and Shubham “Don903” Rai. The latter Rai kicked off heads up with a 3:1 advantage that Singh chipped down to impressively reverse the count. Rai answered with two double ups to build a 9:1 lead, however was threatened again when Singh quickly doubled up twice. Two minutes later, the final hand arrived on a board showing 3 5 J K 7, Rai pushed it all in holding K 10 top pair, Singh tank-called with A 3 bottom pair. Rai shipped it for his first ever APT victory and turned his one bullet worth IN₹ 2,750 into a proud IN₹ 2,78,303 payout. The final event of the day turned up 589 entries for a prize pool of  IN₹ 14,72,000 of which 72 players earned a cut.
