The APT Player of the Series race is officially underway. Players that have cashed at any of the APT events (satellites not included) received points towards the leaderboard. The player with the highest number of points accrued at the completion of the festival wins the APT POS Trophy, APT POS Ring, and a luxury watch. Top 25 players will also receive a piece of IN₹ 30 Lac (~US$ 40,35) in Real Cash Bonus (RCB) with the winner guaranteed IN₹ 6 Lac (~US$ 8,100). Great day at the races for Paawan “ukissmyace” Bansal who turned his IN₹ 3,300 (~US$ 44) buy in into a sweet IN₹ 10.71L (~US$ 14,430) scoop. Bansal outlasted 240 Day 2 runners of the featured Mini Main to bag the title, the largest payout, and the APT trophy.

The Mini Main pulled in 2,007 entries across three starting days to crush the guarantee for a much richer IN₹ 60.21 Lac (~US$ 81,140) prize pool. The biggest heat was the last one, Day 1C, attracting 1,409 entries. Day 2 opened with 241 gunning for the title. Half an hour in, the bubble burst with ”kashish007” as the official bubble player. From there, it took another five hours for the final table to be established.
After the fall of “omniknight” (8th) and “Kingsb30” (7th), Bansal railed the ailing Divanshu “1diot” Khurana (6th) then did the same to Vishal “Vishzz” Bajaj (5th) with 10♦ 10♠ holding against K♦ Q♦ overcards. “Ankitkr” denied Kickoff winner Vinayak “salmanbhai” Bajaj a second win by sending him off in 4th place however “Ankitkr” couldn’t get past the big stack Amit J “churu” to exit in 3rd place. At heads up, Bansal landed a much needed double up with A♣ Q♣ dominating A♦ 10♦ to take the lead. It took another 15 minutes of heated exchanges for Pansal to drain Amit and lift the trophy. The final hand was Bansal A♥ 5♠, Amit 3♥ J♠, the board 9♦ Q♥ Q♠ Q♦ 10♣.

This was the first event of Day 4 and it was a popular one with 378 players and 383 re-entries for 761 total entries. After six hours of play, Kuldeep “don_31” Kumar emerged victorious after overcoming a deficit against “pan8145sviy” at heads up. Kumar doubled up with a straight over top pair then cracked aces with trips queens (hand pictured below) to claim the IN₹ 68.87K first prize.

After two prior final table berths, Aditya “KesarDa” Kesharwani shipped it on his third appearance to pocket IN₹ 84K (~US$ 1,130) plus IN₹ 7K in bounties. Another player crushing the felt was Aditya “adit11” Kulkarni who knocked out a stunning 24 heads to collect IN₹ 12K in bounties before busting in 12th place.
On the home stretch, Kesharwani railed three players, “Jindal_92” (8th), Priyank “Piko1432” Kothari (6th), and Nishant “Mr.Wonderful” Bhutoria in 3rd place to face “Ikka5” at heads up. Kesharwani was ahead 2:1; his lead widened to 11:1 after dragging in a big pot with Q♥ Q♦ on a board 9♥ K♦ J♣ Q♠ 3♥. Ikka5 laid out a big river bet with his 6♠ J♥ and Kesharwani tank-called. The final hand was another attempt by Ikka5 to steal the pot. On a board 7♦ 10♦ K♣ J♠ 6♠, Kesharwani checked, Ikka5 bluff shoved 4♠ Q♥, Kesharwani called with Q♠ 9♣ straight.
