As the Asian Poker Tour Vietnam Hanoi Loyal 2022 heads towards its final five days, the next event to conquer is the CHAMPIONSHIPS EVENT VN₫ 4,000,000,000 (~US$ 172,300) guarantee. As of noon today, cards have been flying at the Grand Loyal Poker Club with four tables filled up. Day 1A will run a course of 8 levels of 60 minutes each. Among the players already slugging it out on the poker green are High Rollers Single Day champion Nang Quang Nguyen, Mystery Bounty champion Nguyen Quang Huy, Tran Duc Son who has already reached three final tables, Norbert Koh, and Pham Bao. Registration is open all day. Players can sign up as late as the end of Level 11 in Day 2.
Similar to the Main Event, the Championships Event is a deep stacked tournament with blinds escalating every 60 minutes. For players that sign up at the last second, you still have a decent 20 BB stack. The player who champions this event will not only receive a large first prize payout, but will also take home the APT Championships Event Trophy and APT Championship Ring.
