HomeThe CHAMPIONSHIPS EVENT is the second featured tournament of the Asian Poker Tour and like the Main Event it comes with a TWD 6,000,000 (~USD 195,000) guarantee. With buy-in at TWD 49,500 (~USD 1,600), it tends to attract a tighter field heavy with pros. The event runs for five days from October 16 to 20 at the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association. Cards in the air at 1pm daily.
Day 1A: Wednesday, October 16
Day 1B: Thursday, October 17
Day 2: Friday, October 18
Day 3: Saturday, October 19
Final 8 Day: Sunday, October 20
Notes:
- All starting days play until the end of Level 8
- Each level runs for 60 minutes
- Bubble Protection in effect
- Registration closes at the start of Level 10 in Day 2
- Multiple stacks allowed but only the best stack advances
- Day 2 runs until the end of Level 16
- Day 3 runs until the Final 8 players is reached
Bubble Protection
Bubble Protection is in effect. In the event that a bubble protected player busts on the bubble, that player will receive his/her buy-in back in the form of APT Tournament credits (valid for one year). Since its inception in 2016, several players have been saved from walking away empty-handed. To be eligible, all you need to do is follow the steps below:
- Pre-register
- Draw for your seat before starting time
- Have your chips put into play on the first deal of Level 1
