Opening Day Games
Opening day storms in with guns blazing. Five varied games set the pace of buy ins ranging from ₹ 1,100 to ₹ 5,500 (~US$ 15 to ~US$ 75) and guarantees from ₹ 5 lakhs to ₹ 50 lakhs (~US$ 6,800 to ~US$ 68,350). The hunt starts with the Kickoff which offers a guarantee of 10 lakhs (~US$ 13,700). Buy in is only ₹ 2,200 (~US$ 30). This is the first of 12 select events where players can win an APT Trophy. The Mini Main Event follows a few hours after with Day 1A scheduled. This is the first of three key events where players can win an APT Guardian Trophy and APT Championship Ring. Buy in is ₹ 5,500 with₹ 50 lakhs guaranteed. Other games to look forward to today are the Turbo, 5 Card PLO, and 4 Max Hyper.
Key Events
Three key events highlight the inaugural series: Mini Main Event, Main Event, and Championships Event. Make sure to mark them down. The Main Event serves up the largest guarantee of ₹ 2 crore (~US$ 273,400); this is the APT’s flagship event and is recognized worldwide for its quality structure. Aside from big winnings, these are the only events where winners are awarded both the APT Guardian Trophy and APT Championship Ring. APT Player of the Series and Daily Leaderboard
In total, the APT Online Series India 2021 offers 48 tournaments across 12 exciting days. Players that cash at any of the events automatically earn points towards the APT Player of the Series Leaderboard and Daily Leaderboard. For the APT POS race, ₹ 28 lakhs (~US$ 38,300) in real cash bonus will be awarded to the top 25 players. The winner receives the motherlode APT Player of the Series Trophy, custom APT Player of the Series Ring, luxury watch, and ₹ 5.5 lakhs (~US$ 7,520) in real cash bonus. Trophies will also be given to 2nd and 3rd placers. As for the Daily Leaderboard, ₹ 2 lakhs (~US$ 2,700) is guaranteed per day distributed among the top ten players in points.
