HomeThe Asian Poker Tour (APT) is pleased to announce its partnership with Pearl Island Poker Tour (PIPT), Natural8 (N8), and Corona Casino & Resort to host the first-ever APT Vietnam Phu Quoc 2021. The event is set to run on May 15, and 22-30, 2021 with VND 4 Billion guaranteed prize pool.
The event is designed for the local players since travel restrictions are still in place. In spite of the situation, it is expected that the event is going to be a great and fun experience for the poker players as it will offer both online and live tournaments. This is the first time APT is offering a Main Event starting day online thru Natural8 online platform. In between May 16 to 21, multiple Main Event satellites will also be offered on N8 to the live venue at Corona Casino.
As announced earlier this year, the Corona Casino & Resort Phu Quoc in Vietnam is added as a new APT destination to offer a new venue and experience to all poker players. Live tournaments of the APT Vietnam Phu Quoc will run here from March 22 to 30.
Pearl Island Poker Tour was formed last year November 11th by a group of Vietnamese players, lead by Anh Nguyen. The first event they held was a very ambitious one known as the Vietnam Millions that featured a 7.5 Billion guaranteed that required 1,000 entries. PIPT was also formed to bring some of the biggest international poker events to Corona Casino located in Phu Quoc.

The gaming space features a VIP area and the private Sky Casino on the 8th floor of the five-star resort. All totaled, there are approximately 1,000 slots and 100 gaming tables for Roulette, Baccarat, Black Jack, Poker and Sic Bo. The Corona Resort and Casino’s over 200,000 sq ft of gaming space features some 1,000 electronic gaming machines.
