APT Online Series India 2021 returns from August 1 to 8 with IN₹ 8 Crore guaranteed at PokerBaazi.com

After a highly successful inaugural run, the Asian Poker Tour returns to India for a second online series! APT Online Series India kicks off this weekend with games running nonstop from August 1 to 8 at partner platform PokerBaazi.com. A total of 44 tournaments fill the schedule including the IN₹ 7,700 buy in MAIN EVENT headliner with IN₹ 1 Crore (~US$ 134,500) guaranteed.

Like the first edition, the series guarantees a jaw dropping IN₹ 8 Crore which is equivalent to more than ONE MILLION U.S. DOLLARS. With the lowest buy in at just ₹ 550 (~US$ 7.40) and IN₹ 55,000 (~US$ 740) as the highest, the series covers every type of bankroll. As for guarantees, every tournament comes with a guarantee from IN₹ 3 Lac up to IN₹ 1 Crore. Six to seven events are offered daily. MAIN EVENT – IN₹ 1 Crore guaranteed

Be it live or online, the APT Main Event is the tour’s top of the line tournament and is highly revered by players worldwide. With its custom crafted deep structure, allowing for plenty of playing time, it has become one of the most sought after events in the Asian region. 

At the inaugural APT Online Series India, the Main Event drew a massive 1,932 entries. Rajat “happyfish” Mahajan came out victorious to earn the single largest series payout of IN₹ 34.06 Lac (~US$ 46,680). For the second edition, both the buy in and guarantee have been trimmed which is sure to attract an even larger crowd. The Main Event features a IN₹ 1 Crore (~US$ 134,500) guarantee with buy in of IN₹ 7,700 (~US$ 103). Four qualifying days are offered starting August 5 leading up to the final day on August 8. On top of all the glory, the champion will win a sizeable amount of cash, the APT Championship Trophy, and APT Championship Ring.

The Championship Event is another APT featured favorite, especially among players with bigger bankrolls. Similar to the main, it has a deep structure. Due to its huge first edition success, the guarantee has been bumped up to IN₹ 50 Lac (~US$ 67,250) while buy in remains the same at IN₹ 22,000 (~US$ 300). This is a one day event taking place on August 4. Champion of this event will also win a sizeable amount of cash, the APT Championship Trophy, and APT Championship Ring, and a luxury watch.

Filling up the rest of the 8-day schedule are a variety of No Limit Hold’em formats. APT Player of the Series

From the get-go, players that cash at any of the 51 events will receive points towards the APT Player of the Series leaderboard. The player with the highest number of points at the completion of the festival wins the APT POS Trophy, APT POS Ring, and a luxury watch. Top 25 players will also receive a piece of IN₹ 30 Lac (~US$ 40,35) in Real Cash Bonus (RCB) with the winner guaranteed IN₹ 6 Lac (~US$ 8,100).
