APT Mystery Bounty Weekend final wrap: series pays out PHP 6.55M; Nicolo Valenton bags a second trophy

The Asian Poker Tour‘s return to the live scene was a roaring success as eager players filled the tables of the inaugural APT Mystery Bounty Weekend. This was the first festival of its kind ever hosted in the Philippines. Games ran from March 3 to 6 at partner / host venue Resorts World Manila, attracting 741 entries across five events and paid out a sizable PHP 6,551,000 (~US$ 126,100) in cold hard cash. On the festival’s final day, he tore past the 77 entry field of the Super Deep Stack Turbo to lift his second title and trophy along with a payout of PHP 261,250 (inclusive of bounties). In total, Valenton walked away pocketing PHP 666,650.
