HomeCards take flight today at APT Korea Seoul 2019!
Welcome players to the fifth leg in the Asian Poker Tour season calendar. We have plenty of exciting events prepared starting today May 29 until June 9 at host venue Grand Walkerhill Paradise Casino. This is the first time the APT hosts a 12 day event in Seoul and the first time we are guaranteeing KRW 360 Million (~USD 303,000) in prizes.

Player Booklet with Event Structures
As usual the most prestigious attractions are the Main Event and the Championships Event. Both come with a guarantee of KRW 180 Million (~USD 150,000). In addition are 22 of our most popular side events. Buy-ins range from KRW 220,000 to KRW 5,300,000. Included in the list are seven High Rollers events and two Monster Stack events.
Last year the APT switched to the Ante Big Blind format. For the first-time, we will also be utilizing the Shot Clock for all the games.
Opening Day schedule
Kicking off the festival at 3pm local time is the first Monster Stack event. Buy-in is KRW 550,000 (~USD 465). This will be followed by the first High Rollers event at 5pm. Buy-in is KRW 3,200,000 (~USD 2,700). Both events run for two days. Winners of these events will set the pace of the APT Player of the Series race and will be the first players to lift APT Golden Lion trophies in Korea.
Featured Events
If there are only two events you can attend, then the Main Event and the Championships Event are it. These are our signature tournaments boasting of the best structure in the region. Both events run back-to-back, each one running for five days. Here’s a look at them in detail:
Main Event – KRW 180 Million guarantee

Buy-in: KRW 1,320,000 (~USD 1,100)
Entries: multiple; best stack forward rule
Starting stack: 25,000 (500x opening blinds 25-50)
Level duration: blinds increase every 60 minutes
Registration: closes at the start of Level 10 in Day 2
Day 1A: Friday, May 31 – play 8 levels
Day 1B: Saturday, June 1 – play 8 levels
Day 2: Sunday, June 2 – play 8 levels
Day 3: Monday, June 3 – play to Final 8 players
Final 8: Tuesday, June 4
Championships Event – KRW 180 Million guarantee

Buy-in: KRW 1,980,000 (~USD 1,700)

Starting stack: 50,000 (250x opening blinds 100-200)
Level duration: blinds increase every 60 minutes
Registration: closes at the start of Level 10 in Day 2
Day 1A: Wednesday, June 5 – play 8 levels
Day 1B: Thursday, June 6 – play 8 levels
Day 2: Friday, June 7 – play 8 levels
Day 3: Saturday, June 8 – play to Final 8 players
Final 8: Sunday, June 9

Asia online gaming giant, Dafabet, comes in as a major partner. They will sponsor the Head Hunter KRW 100,000 Bounty event taking place on Thursday, May 30 and the Players Party held on Thursday, June 6.
Dafabet also brings back the APT Survivor which is a last man standing promo offered only at the Main Event. The last player remaining at the Main Event wearing the Dafabet patch will receive a seat to APT Vietnam Ho Chi Minh 2019 taking place in July.

For the first time in Korea, 7 High Rollers events are offered. Buy-ins range from KRW 2,150,000 to KRW 5,300,000. Schedule below:
