APT India Online Series 4.0 underway at PokerBaazi.com; opening day guarantees ₹96L across six events

Cards are flying at APT India Online Series! The fourth installment of the online series is underway at India’s largest client, PokerBaazi.com. It runs from today, July 1 to July 10 with an enormous IN₹ 10 Crore (~US$ 1,266,688) guaranteed over 55 tournaments. This is up a whopping IN₹ 3 Crore from previous. 

The festival opened moments ago with the Kickoff 20L guaranteed, and is the first of six tournaments lined up for the day. For players with low to medium bankrolls, this day is perfect for you with buy ins from IN₹ 1,650 (~US$ 21) to IN₹ 11,000 (~US$ 140). In total, a combined IN₹ 96 Lac (~US$ 121,600) is guaranteed plus two APT Trophies.

.Opening Day schedule

Kickoff 20L GTD – underway at 4pm, registration closes at 7:40pm – buy in is  IN₹ 3,300 (~US$ 41.80). Great value for this event with IN₹ 20 Lac (~US$ 25,335) guaranteed and a trophy for the eventual champion. Blinds increase every ten minutes. At the time of writing, 255 already entered with an added 59 re-entries. At the top was Harshad Barve “Omglukbox” with over 1.1L in chips. We will be on the lookout for Nishaanth “shanni” Shanmughasundaram who shipped this event at the previous installment. 

Following this event are two non-trophy tournaments, the Megastack 8L GTD with buy in of IN₹ 2,200 (~US$ 28) at 5:30pm, and the cheapest of the day, the PLO-6 6L GTD with buy in of IN₹ 1,650 (~US$ 21) at 7pm. 

Friday Major 40L GTD – this is the second featured tournament of the day with buy in at the day’s highest of IN₹ 11,000 (~US$ 140) and a hefty guarantee of IN₹ 40 Lac (~US$ 50,668). The eventual champion take home the second APT Trophy of the series. Cards start flying at 7:30pm and with four hours of late registration. 

The last two tournaments are non-trophy events. The 7-Max Turbo 12L GTD gets rolling at 8:30pm, and closing out the night is the KO 10L GTD. These events cost IN₹ 2,750 (~US$ 35) each to enter.
