APT #5: Mini Main Day 1A draws 281 entries; 39 players advance; Megha Khandelwal in the lead

Day 1A of the the APT #5 Mini Main drew 281 runners (191 uniques, 90 re-entries) with 39 qualifying into Day 2. Closing the heat as chip leader was unknown player Megha “acessorted” Khandelwal who fired a whopping six bullets. The leader racked up 2.71L which was equivalent to 18 starting stacks or 75 bb. At his heels was Gautam “M8a7” Rohilla with 2.65L. Rounding out the top three was Romit “tilt83” Advani with 2.31L. All three players performed well on opening day, each one reaching the final table of the Sunday Major. Rohilla also placed 5th at the APT #2: Monster Stack. 

The Mini Main is the first phased event of APT Online Series India 2021. Action continues at PokerBaazi.com with two starting days remaining. The event guarantees IN₹ 50 Lac (~US$ 67,250). For a buy in of IN₹ 3,300 (~US$ 44), players begin with a 15K starting stack which is a deep 250x the opening big blind. Levels increase every 10 minutes. Day 1 plays until the end of Level 27.
