Another New Destination for the Asian Poker Tour in 2019

The Asian Poker Tour’s third event in 2019 will be held from the 20th of February to the 3rd of March at the Chinese Texas Holdem Poker Association (CTP) in Taipei, Taiwan.

“As the market leader in bringing world-class poker tournament events to new destinations in and around Asia, the Asian Poker Tour in partnership with the Chinese Texas Holdem Poker Association, are proud to bring the first APT event to Taipei,” said Lloyd Fontillas, APT Executive Tournament Director and General Manager.

Situated in the heart of the city, the CTP Room is the flagship venue of 6 poker rooms spread across the city. It is Taipei’s largest poker room and comfortably accommodates 25 tournament tables and a RFID streaming final table. Furthermore, the CTP has held a number of tournaments catering to both the local and international market. Located along one of Taipei’s busy streets, CTP offers a gateway into Taipei’s bustling cityscape.

“We are happy and excited to be hosting the very first APT event here in Taiwan. Players for sure will have a great time being in the vibrant city of Taipei which has so much to offer: great food, site seeing, shopping, night life, we have it all,” added CTP President David Tai.

The 12-day APT Taiwan 2019 from February 20 to March 3 features a TWD 33,000 Main event along with a TWD 49,500 Championships Event complemented by several Side Events and Satellites. Further details to be posted on the APT Taiwan 2019 info page soon.
