59 players hunt down a Main Event Final 8 berth; High Rollers at 3pm and Championships Event Satellite at 6pm

The APT Macau Championships 2018 continues to bring you nonstop poker festivities at Macau Billionaire Poker in Babylon Casino. Today will see the continuation of the Main Event with 59 players gunning for a seat to the Final 8.

Last night, the money was reached with four players earning the first cuts of the HKD 3,619,200 prize pool. The largest share of HKD 587,000 is reserved for the champion which will be claimed tomorrow along with the exclusive APT Championship Ring and the signature APT Main Event trophy.

Leading the Day 3 race is China’s Wang Meng with 518,000 in chips. Meng is the only player that crossed that half-mil marker though Japan’s Yoichi Uesugi isn’t far behind with 470,500.

The game resumes at Level 17 with blinds at 2000-4000 ante 500. There are 9,425,000 chips in play. Average stack is 159,745.

15:00: Event 9 – High Rollers Day 1

The highest side event buy-in of the series is the High Rollers event coming in at HKD 43,000. Players looking to wager big and score even bigger, this tournament is perfect for you. The High Rollers event has been growing in popularity with players preferring tighter fields and big prize pools. This is a scheduled two-day event.

18:00: Championships Event Mega Satellite

Another chance to try and land a cheap seat to the Championships Event comes your way at 6pm. Turn your HKD 2,400 into a HKD 22,000 seat and possibly even more cash. One seat will be awarded per 10 players. This is the second to the last satellite to the event.
