Today we kick off with another elimination round at the featured Championships Event with 34 players back on the felt. Ka Wai Wong ships the Deep Stack Hyper Turbo

The Deep Stack Hyper Turbo event drew slightly less than the WLS event with only 92 signing up. This may have been due to the late afternoon start and players eager to attend the Dafabet Players Party at 10pm. Whatever the reason, the event still had plenty of action. 16 players cashed in on the KRW 17,848,000 prize pool. Hong Kong’s Ka Wai Wong banked the most for her victory, denying another female player Marika Tomisawa the title. Wong became the second female player to ship a title at the series. She pocketed KRW 4,694,000 which was quite a nice return for her KRW 220,000 buy-in.

Final 8 payouts
1st Ka Wai Wong – Hong Kong – KRW 4,694,000
2nd Marika Tomisawa – Japan – KRW 3,129,000
