251 total entries recorded in Mystery Bounty, over NT$1.8M in prize pool

TAIPEI CITY, Taiwan – The Asian Poker Tour (APT) Mystery Bounty (Event #1) saw 82 more entries in Flight B to bring the total entries to 251 and upping the total prize pool to over NT$1.8M (over US$57,530.00) with 61 runners still in contention entering the final day of the competition at the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association (CTP Club) here. 

Flight B finished close to 3:00AM (UCT+8) and saw twenty combatants survive to join the 41 who advanced from the earlier Flight A as these 61 individuals reconvene in a few hours to battle it out for the top prize of NT$288,000.00 (US$9,074.00) and Mystery Bounties of as much as NT$109,000.00 (US$3,420.00). 

But the first order of business when action resumes at 1:00PM is to get to ITM as only the top 26 players get paid. 

Flight B’s chip-leader is local bet Wei Chun Liu who has been a regular in the APT stops here, but has yet to pick up a major score. He has 262,500 in chips which is good for second overall. Cheng Hsin Liu emerged second in that flight with 231,500 while Chia Yun Wu (perhaps among the most active tournament players in the country with over US$250,000.00 in career earnings) came in third with 160,000. 

The contest resumes at Level 16 with Blinds at 1,500/3,000 (BB ante 3,000).

Also commencing today (28th September) are (Event #2) the 2-day Super High-Rollers with a buy-in of NT$86,000.00 (US$2,709.00) as well as (Event #3) the 2-day NLH. Another satellite to the Main Event also happens at 6:00PM.
