The bubble burst at the fall of Pete Yen Han Chen to the only Thai player remaining, Nithiwat Suphanit. Chen’s 9 9 was dominated throughout by Suphanit’s J J

The final table of 9 players was then formed at the fall of Wu Chia Hun A J top two pair to Chi Jen Chu‘s 9 6 trips on a board 6 6 J A 4. The shoves were on the river.

Eventual winner Vincent Huang won the first big pot on a double up through Ho-Ru Wu. Both players paired up on the flop 9 K 3 10 2. Huang had the better kicker A K to Wu’s K Q. The shoves were on the flop.

Wu caught a lucky break winning a three-way shove with 7 7 full house on a board Q 7 4 4 Q. He avoided the rail against Chih Chiang Hu‘s J J and Huang’s A K. Two hands after, Hu busted to  Chen Shou Dien with yet another unlucky hand. Hu was ahead with A Q, Dien with A 9, the board came 2 3 A 9 8 for two pair to Dien.

The next three busts were Chan Lok Ming (8th), Cheng Chao Ting (7th), and Ronaldo Junio (6th). With five remaining, Dien’s A 9 fell to Wu who had another lucky catch. Wu’s A 8 both paird up on a board 8 A 10 4 Q. This gave Wu the chip lead. Then Suphanit’s 10 10 was outdrawn by Chi Jen Chen‘s A J when an ace showed up on the turn.

Three remaining, both big stacks went at it leading to Huang taking all of Wu’s chips. It was a battle of the blind, On a turn board 2 K 5 4, sb Huang shoved A 3 straight, bb Wu tank-called with A 7 top pair. No split on the river 2. Huang entered heads up against Chu with nearly a 3:1 advantage.

Huang widened his lead after winning the first pot which was a fairly big one, however closing it out immediately was not in the cards. Chen doubled up on a lucky two pair holding A 2 to Huang’s A 8 on a board A 9 6 2 J. This gave Chen the confidence to put pressure on Huang until he was able to steal the chip lead.

It wouldn’t last, the next all in showdown awarded Huang a huge double up claiming 95% of the chips. His Q Q won the flip against Chen’s A K overcards. Two hands later, Huang shipped the rest of it.
