Location: Noumea, New Caledonia
The French territory of New Caledonia is an archipelago located on the Pacific Ocean to the east of Australia. The capital city of Noumea is a peninsula found on the southern end. Although it has a multi-ethnic population, the main spoken language is French and the currency is the French Franc.
For APT visitors, Noumea is the most beautiful destination in the APT schedule. From the gorgeous beaches to famous landmarks and cultural center that embraces its diversity, Noumea has an extensive amount of places to explore that adds to the overall poker experience. During the time of the APT event, the weather is expected to be at its driest with temperatures from 25 degrees high to a low of 19 degrees. If there were a best time of the year to visit New Caledonia, this would be one of those months. We do advise to consider putting in some extra time to enjoy what the area has to offer.
Hotel Accommodations
As usual, the APT can facilitate hotel accommodations for players. We have special APT Player rates available. You can contact Hotel@TheAsianPokerTour.com or contact Casinos de Noumea directly.
