HomeThe highlight tournament of the week was over but that did not stop poker enthusiasts from playing in the last day of the APT Asian Poker Series Cebu 2015 with three side events scheduled on Wednesday.
Catching the last ride to the championship bus were; the Philippines’ Andrew Gaw, who bagged the High Rollers title for over PHP 1.2 million; UK’s Sam Razavi, who won the 6-Handed Turbo event for PHP 180,000; and Japan’s Misaki Satoochi, who copped the title in the final event, the Deep Stack Turbo 3 event for PHP 100,700.
They are just three of the new (and repeat) APT champions this week.
A total of 21 countries were represented in this main event and a total of 1,548 total entries bought in scattered all 18 events, the total prize pool set at PHP 21,463,000.

First-Ever 2-Time Main Event Champion – Henrik Tollefsen
Tollefsen, a pro from Norway, bagged first place in the main event, his second such feat after winning the APT Macau 2013 Main Event two years ago.

“Selfish” Sam
Being selfish is definitely not frowned upon on the felt and the three-time APT Player was at his peak form again of being greedy for chips. The result: four more side event titles plus one ITM in another side event for a total of PHP 520,900 in this APT stop. Safe to say, Razavi, who entered as No. 1 in the 2015 APT POY race, has protected his lead.
Of course, knowing the affable Englishman, Razavi will not rest in his laurels (and be greedy for more!) in the upcoming APT events for the rest of 2015.
