The Asian Poker Tour: An Introduction

Asian Poker Tour (APT)We, the Asian Poker Tour, had our debut on the poker tournaments scene in 2008 with roughly 200 players signing up for the APT Main Event in Manila. Then, in that same year, APT was launched in Macau with the number of registered participants rising to 257.

In 2009, we again conquered the poker action in Manila with the attendance of 262 contenders for the APT Philippines Main Event Champion title – and, of course, Macau with the number of participants increasing significantly to 326.

For 2010, we brought back the spark in the eyes of the enthusiasts as the Asian Poker Tour revisited Manila, bringing live poker action back to the town where it started. A total of 227 players competed for the money and the prestige of being the 2010 Asian Poker Tour Philippines Main Event Champion. The year, however, would not be complete without APT’s coming back to Macau—hence, we are cooking up something for you guys: see you at the City of Dreams as we give you another set of hard rock poker action happening from the 6th till the 14th of November 2010.

Our goal is to bring world-class poker experience in Asia, aiming to quench the participants’ thirst for high-end, major international poker tournament. Today, we are known to be the premier poker tournament in Asia—all thanks to you, poker enthusiasts. To that, we pledge to give our dear supporters the best in the industry: that kind of poker action which we know you truly want and deserve.
