The Asian Poker Tour (APT) in partnership with Resorts World Manila (RWM) is suiting up for its next big event of the year, the APT Philippines 2017 II! This annual event is scheduled to run from September 13th – September 21st at the Genting Club located on the 3rd floor of RWM.
”Given that RWM’s mass gaming area is temporarily restricted to its ground floor, the RWM management have made a very special effort to accommodate what will be APT’s 20th event at the property. We have made some changes to our normal schedule but we are set for another successful event at RWM,” said Lloyd Fontillas, APT Executive Tournament Director.
As always, players can expect quality tournaments boasting of the best structures in all of Asia. The nine-day festival will feature the APT’s most prestigious tournament, the USD 1,650 buy-in Main Event which kicks off on Sunday, September 17th. The main will run a total of five days to conclude on the festival’s closing day, Thursday, September 21st. Three satellites will be offered leading up to the event.
The schedule also includes 12 highly crafted APT side events with buy-ins ranging from USD 165 – USD 2,150. The highly popular APT-RWM Opening Event USD 40,000 Guaranteed will set the pace with two flights running on kickoff day. Other events include the No Limit Hold’em One Day event, Monster Stack, Pot Limit Omaha Hi, and of course the High Rollers. One important reminder, there will be an enforced dress code at the Genting. That means no shorts, no slippers, no tank tops, just dress smart casual to ensure entry to the club.
Hotel Accommodations
For players flying in, Resorts World Manila is directly across the NAIA Terminal 3 with a free RWM shuttle at the arrivals level. For those needing hotel accommodations, the APT has secured “Special APT Player Only” rates for players attending the event.
