The APT Asian Series Debuts in Cebu

APT Asian Series - Cebu 2011

We are adding flavor to the already grand and colorful Sinulog Festival as the Asian Poker Tour launches the APT Asian Series in Cebu this January!

The newest addition to the events on the APT calendar was designed to cater to the Asian poker community—the local and regional players in particular—giving them the opportunity to feel the live poker action in an international tournament setting.

What sets the APT Asian Series apart from the usual APT Main Events is, basically, the amount of money players must shed out for their games: as joining the APT Asian Series Main Event would require a lower buy-in of only PhP46,500 + PhP3,500. With similar structure and tournament format (and though the fees are made lower), participating in the APT Asian Series would still guarantee poker players of the same APT experience that only the Asia-Pacific’s major tour can offer.

The APT Asian Series will be held at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu, in partnership with the All-In Sports Club and PAGCOR Casino, from the 10^th ‘til the 17^th of January in 2011.
