What is the perfect way to start the APT-RWM Poker Finale 2014? How about a two million guaranteed tournament right on opening day?
The APT-RWM Poker Finale 2014 begins play on Wednesday (December 3) at the Resorts World Manila, Pasay City, Philippines with the RWM Poker Fiesta 2M GTD.
Poker enthusiasts will have a couple of chances to join the opening day tournament with a pair of flights set on Wednesday the first at 1:00 PM and the other one at 6:00 PM. The 2 million guaranteed event, which has a buy-in of PHP 11,000, will have its Final Day on Thursday (Dec 4) also at 1:00 PM.
The event is expected to draw a large number of runners as APT regulars are expected to join the opening day tourney with the likes of Samad Razavi (England), Feng Zhao (Singapore), Mike Takayama (Philippines), Yo Doi (Japan) and Kai Paulsen (Norway)— the top five in the 2014 APT Player of the Year rankings— all anticipated to make an early appearance.
For as low as PHP 120, players can crash into the two million guaranteed event by joining the “One HAND” RWM Poker Fiesta 2M GTD Satellite Step 1s set from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM also on Wednesday. Qualifiers from that one-handed, quick tournament advance to the “One HAND” RWM Poker Fiesta 2M GTD Satellite FINAL Step (with direct buy-in of PHP 1,200) set at 5:30 PM the same day.
The RWM Poker Fiesta 2M GTD event is just one of the 12 side events in the eight-day long poker event at RWM. The APT-RWM Poker Finale is scheduled from December 3 to 10 with the week’s highlight event, the APT-RWM Poker Finale Main Event Day 1s set on Saturday (Dec. 6) and Sunday (Dec. 7). The buy-in for the main event is at PHP 50,000.
Other popular side events scheduled this week are the High Rollers Event (PHP 108,000) and Ante Up for Charity (PHP 7,500) events on Thursday; and the Head Hunter (PHP 16,500) and Open Face Chinese Pineapple (PHP 8,800) events on Friday, among many others.
