Side event winners: Yu Chung “Nevan” Chang and Du Ming Tsai

APT Taiwan 2021 side event action saw two players lift up trophies – Yu Chung “Nevan” Chang and Du Ming Tsai. Congratulations to the winners! Results are posted below. Event #5: High Rollers – YU CHUNG “NEVAN” CHANG – NT$ 225,300 (~US$ 8,084)

The High Rollers event had a hard time kicking off however when the buy in was lowered from NT$ 43,000 (~US$ 1,540) to NT$ 27,000 (~US$ 970), it attracted a powerhouse lineup of Taiwanese heavy hitters. At the close, 19 entered for a prize pool of NT$ 460,700 (~US$ 16,530).  Local player Yu Chung “Nevan” Chang emerged victorious, denying series multi winner Kun Han Lee a third title. For his first ever APT win, Chang shipped the NT$ 225,300 (~US$ 8,084) first prize and the event trophy.

Event #4: No Limit Hold’em – DU MING TSAI –  NT$ 109,500 (~US$ 3,930)

The No Limit Hold’em event drove 45 to action and at the close, it was Du Ming Tsai capturing his first ever APT title and NT$ 109,500 (~US$ 3,930). This was a long awaited win for Tsai who has cashed at nine APT tournaments since 2016.
