HomeThis is it! The cards are now flying at the Ho Tram Resort Casino for the final table of the APT Vietnam Main Event where only one player will claim the $29,500 first place purse and be crowned the champion of the first-ever major international poker tournament held in the country.
Entering the final table with the most number of chips is Singaporean player, Norbert Koh, with 382,000 chips. Koh is a veteran at making it very deep at APT events. He is currently running third in the APT POY 2015 standings.
Kwan Kit Kwok from Hong Kong sits second-in-command with 376,000 chips. Kwok has been ruthless this entire tournament, taking down big pots, most often without a showdown. Kwok will be looking to claim his first-ever APT championship title.
Poker pro Samad Razavi from England, the APT Player of the Year from 2012-2014, is one of the highest poker earners at the table having won and cashed in many events around the globe. He sits in third position with 305,000 chips. Razavi is currently running fifth in the APT POY standings.
Next in chips is Singaporean poker pro Bryan Huang Diwei with 284,000 chips. Huang is one of the toughest competitors at the final table. He is currently #1 in the Singaporean All Time Money List.
Chinese national Sunny Zhang sits in the middle of the pack with 281,000 chips. He was on the brink of elimination at Day 3 but after a double up, he used his stack to muscle the players during the bubble stage. Zhang will also be looking to win his first APT event.
Singaporean player Jereld Sam has clearly shown that he can go head-to-head with the big guns. He came into Day 3 as one of the shortest stacks and picked good spots to increase his stack, earning himself a final table berth with his perseverance. Sam sits with 271,000 chips.
Erik Billgren from Sweden has been shocking his fellow tablemates by hitting sets and getting paid for them. Billgren is at the final table with 174,000 chips.
Japanese player Hideki Takafuji sits with 159,000 chips. Takafuji is well remembered for his win at the APT Cebu 2015 High Roller event. Takafuji is also looking to capture his first-ever APT Main Event title.
And completing the final table is David Steicke from Hong Kong with 154,000 chips. Steicke is undoubtedly the most well-achieved and highly recognized poker pro at the final table. He came short of the final table of eight last month, finishing in the respectable 10th place, but has now passed that and is in full gear to go all the way.

Yesterday saw two more players claiming APT trophies. At the No Limit Holdem 2 (Event 8), Iori Yogo defeated Azusa Maeda at the heads up round to bag the first place cash prize of $8,070 and his second trophy at the APT VIetnam.
