Good day players and welcome to APT Finale Taiwan 2019!
It has been a great year for the Asian Poker Tour with 10 events hosted around the region. For the second consecutive year, we opened in Vietnam, added new stops along the way, and awarded over US$ 12 million in prizes. To close out the season, we return to the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association (CTP Club) in Taipei City for a grand year-end celebration.
This year has seen Taiwan boom as the newest destination for poker in the region. The first time the APT set foot in Taiwan was back in late-February. The inaugural event drew a grand 3251 entries and paid out USD 2.1 million in cash making it the richest and largest APT festival of 2019. We aim to surpass those numbers in the coming days with an exciting 24 event schedule and a minimum NT$ 14 million (~US$ 459,000) in guaranteed prizes to set it in motion.
And since the holiday season is coming up, to extend our gratitude to everyone that showed their support this year, we bring you a special 12 Days of Poker Christmas Promo complete with prizes, gifts, and discounts offered throughout the series. From APT General Manager / Executive Tournament Director, Lloyd Fontillas,
“Time passes by so fast when you are having a great time! 2019 is quickly coming to an end and I would personally like to thank you for your support to the Asian Poker Tour. As part of our commitment to create the best poker events in Asia, we are showcasing for the first time the 12 Days of Poker Christmas with daily gifts to be given away. The tour has and always will be the poker event for the players, by the players! Thank you for making 2019 our best year to date.”
Once again, welcome to APT Finale Taiwan 2019! We kick off today, November 28, and run a course of 12 fun-filled days, to conclude on December 9.
