Players to Converge at APT Kickoff Vietnam 2018

The Asian Poker Tour (APT) will be holding its opening event for 2018 in Vietnam and is set to attract top players from Asia and some familiar names from all around the world.

Here are the players who have already confirmed their attendance:

First on the list is the reigning 2017 APT Player of the Year Tetsuya Tsuchikawa. He had seven APT titles last year and will look to continue his impressive run in 2018. Together with him are his fellow Japanese Yoichi Uesugi and Iori Yogo who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 2017 APT POY race.

Also in attendance will be the most decorated players from the Philippines such as John Tech, Czardy Rivera and Martin Gonzales. The three are in the top 20 all-time money list for the Philippines and combined they have over USD 1,000,000 in career earnings.

Making a much awaited comeback to felts of the APT is the Quadruple APT Player of the Year (2012-2015) Samad Razavi. He has a total record of 28 APT titles out of the 123 cashes he had since 2012. He will be joined by some of most familiar poker faces of the APT, Kai Danilo Paulsen from Norway, Michael Kim Falcon from Denmark and SJ Kim from Korea.

APT Kickoff 2018 Vietnam will be held from January 19 to 28, 2018 at the Pro Poker Club, Ho Chi Minh. It will feature a VND 3,000,000,000 Guaranteed Main Event with a buy in of VND 16,500,000 plus 18 Side Events with buy ins ranging from VND 3 Million to VND 32 Million.
