That’s it! Three starting days of the APT Finale Taiwan 2019 – MAIN EVENT – completed! Day 1C at partner / host venue Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association brought in 142 to become the largest of all the the entry heats. After 9 rounds of action running 60 minutes each, only 63 had chips to bag. Canada’s Peter Chien rose above the competitors with his 162,300 stack. Chien will enter Day 2 as overall chip leader.
A long list of notable pros also through to Day 2 with one APT decorated champion Soo Jo Kim. Kim bagged up 11,500 which means he will have to work double time to get his stack in contention with the current leaders.
