TAIPEI CITY, Taiwan – After a marathon climax in the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Taiwan 2022 Main Event, the final two days of competition here plays out beginning today with two highly anticipated side events as the action continues at the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association (CTP Club) here.
After the crowning of new Main Event champion Zhan Shuo Guo just hours before, (Event #17) two-day NT$43k (US$1,352.00) High-Rollers start off hostilities anew at 1:00PM (UCT+8) while (Event #18) the NT$1M (US$35,513.00) GTD Monster Stack will have its two Day 1 Flights played in succession with this NT$8,500.00 (US$268.00) buy-in event expected to draw a massive deluge of entries.
Lin Hua Wei is the defending champion of this tilt and if the trend is followed from the previous days, this version could set another record in terms of attendance.
Flight A begins at 2:00PM with the regular 30-minutes-per-level structure while the Turbo Flight B will have only 20 minutes per round. That takes place at 6:00PM and registration for the qualifiers end at Level 12.
Those who advance will finish off tomorrow (5th October) and could even be the last event to conclude before the series officially ends.
