Opening day of the APT Online Series 2nd Edition was scheduled to be a big one with 16 games looking to be captured and $ 1,160,000 in prizes guaranteed. Opening Day results
Prior to opening day cancellations, we witnessed plenty of exciting action as nearly all events surpassed its guarantee. The featured Mini Main Event $200K GTD and the Opening Event $500K GTD drew massive fields however still experienced an overlay. Four events made it to the finish line. APT Player of the Series
For the completed events, points were earned towards the APT Player of the Series race. We will have the leader board up for you soon. Make sure to check your points to see where you stand. Top three players in points at the end of the series will win an APT POS Ring and prize money from $ 500 to $ 1,500. The ultimate winner will also receive an APT Finale Championship Event ticket while 2nd place receives an APT Finale Main Event ticket.
Natural8 Daily Leader board
Exclusive to Natural8 members is a Daily Leader Board broken down into five categories: Japan / Hong Kong / Thailand / Vietnam / Rest of Asia. A total of $ 10,000 will be distributed throughout the series. Check back for the opening day results or head to the link provided.

Featured: Mini Main Event – mon$terDad
The featured Mini Main Event came out swinging with 3,532 signing up across 8 entry flights. However, this was still not enough to breach the guarantee for a solid $ 200,000 pot. After two and a half hours of play, the game was cancelled with 151 remaining. At the top was Lester Edoc “mon$terDad”, he will be credited the victory and will receive the APT Trophy and APT Championship Ring. This was Edoc’s third APT ring having won two Main Event titles in 2018.

Of all the side games, the Opening Event guaranteed the largest of half a million dollars. This brought in 1,559 across 12 entry heats however like the event above, it still missed the mark resulting in an overlay. 439 players advanced to the Final Day. The game was cancelled at 26 remaining with player “propofol-san” at the top of the counts. propofol-san will be credited the victory.

The APT Kick Off event was one of four events that managed to complete. For a very affordable $ 50 buy in, players had a chance at the $ 10,000 guarantee.
