On Deck Today: Head Hunter, Ladies of Poker, and High Roller OFC Pineapple

Welcome to another day of poker festivities at the Asian Poker Tour Kickoff 2016. Today will see three events sharing the APT tournament floor namely, the Head Hunter P4,000 Bounty, the Ladies of Poker, and the High Roller Open Face Chinese Pineapple Shootout 12 Max. The Pot Limit Omaha High Rollers event will also be resuming with eight players remaining.

Today’s Events

For those interested in playing the Head Hunter event, buy-in is P17,600. There is a P4,000 bounty on everyone’s head. The event begins at 1pm with late registration available until the end of six levels. Keep in mind that this is designed to be a two-day event however if there are 8 players or less remaining by 10pm tonight, then the players will continue to play it out to the finish, making it a one-day event.

The Ladies of Poker event kicks off at 130pm. Buy-in is P5,500 per entry. Previous winner of this event was Filipino player Maria Cristina Argao. It is likely she will be back to try to capture another trophy. Filipino player Ferlyn Cabaling has dominated this category for some time and will most likely return as well.

The High Roller OFC Pineapple Shootout 12 Max is back on the APT floor having had its debut appearance last month at the APT Finale 2015. Buy-in is P55,000 and starts at 2pm.
