New APT Championships Event record! Prize Pool & Payouts

APT Philippines 2019 is indeed the only place to be for poker in the region. Days ago the Main Event completely demolished the guarantee and now the CHAMPIONSHIPS EVENT has done the same with 316 total entries (P82,500 buy-in) for a prize pool of P22,989,000 (~USD 442,700). This set a new tour record for this event usurping APT Taiwan’s 288 entries. Out of that juicy pot, 32 players will see a cut though we doubt the money will be reached here today at Day 2. The eventual winner will pocket an enormous P5,295,900 (~USD 102,000)

Chips in play: 15,732,800 (two double qualifiers removed = 67,200)
