Here we go! The last APT MAIN EVENT of the 2019 calendar season!
The Asian Poker Tour‘s top-of-the-line tournament takes center stage from November 29 to December 4. Through the years, players have praised the APT MAIN EVENT as having the best structure in the region. For a buy-in of NT$ 30,000 + NT$ 3,000 fee, not only do players get the opportunity to experience it, they also have a chance at the NT$ 6,000,000 (~US$ 196,700) guarantee.
APT Finale Taiwan 2019 Tournament Structure
The eventual champion will take home the APT champion trophy, APT Championship Ring, and a hefty first place cash prize.
Additionally, as part of our 12 Days of Poker Christmas Promo, players that sign up to Day 1A will receive a special discount on the fee. Buy-in will be NT$ 31,000. Read up on all the Main Event details below.

Opening blinds: 25 -50
Starting time: 1pm
Registration: closes at the start of Level 11 in Day 2
Day 1A: Friday, November 29
Day 1B: Saturday, November 30
Day 1C: Sunday, December 1
Day 2: Monday, December 2
Day 3: Tuesday, December 3
Final Day: Wednesday, December 4
Notes:
- All starting days play until the end of Level 9
- Each level runs for 60 minutes
- Day 2 runs until the end of Level 17
- Day 3 runs until the Final 8 players is reached
- Bubble Protection in effect (see below)
- Registration closes at the start of Level 11 in Day 2
- Unlimited re-entries allowed
- Multiple stacks allowed but only the best stack advances
- Shot Clock will be introduced when the tournament is down to the last six tables
- For players looking to enter at a lower cost, there are satellites offered leading up to the event
Bubble Protection
Bubble Protection is a one of the best perks for players attending the Main Event. In the event that a “bubble protected player” busts on the bubble, that player will receive his/her buy-in back in the form of APT Tournament credits (valid for one year). Since its inception in 2016, Bubble Protection has saved several players from walking away empty-handed. To be eligible, all you need to do is follow the easy steps below:
- Pre-register
- Draw for your seat before starting time
- Have your chips put into play on the first deal of Level 1
