Among them were APT decorated champion Tetsuya Tsuchikawa bagging up a respectable 71,500 in chips and series Kick-off winner Kovantsev Viacheslov with 102,800, Deserving the highest recognition was Kwok Luen Hei for his kingly stack of 128,800.
All qualifiers have a one day break before they return for Day 2 on Wednesday, January 15 at 1pm. While they wait, Day 1C – the last starting day offered- gets underway on Tuesday, January 14. Buy-in is VND 22,000,000 (~US$ 950). To avail of the fantastic Bubble Protection incentive, entering players need to make sure to have their chips in play by the first deal of Level 1 at 1pm. Players that have already qualified to Day 2 but with short stacks may attempt for multiple stacks however only the player’s best stack advances.
