PASAY CITY, Philippines – At the midway mark of today’s hostilities, The Asian Poker Tour (APT) 2022 Philippines Main Event Day 1B has already accounted for 125 entries in its final break of the session while (Event #10) the Super Deep Stack Turbo (S-DST) has entered the Final 8 phase even as (Event #11) the second PhP65,000 (US$1,135) Single-Day High-Rollers has already closed its registration in a whirlwind competition day at the Grand Wing Casino, Newport World Resorts here.
The participants of Day 1B will play on until the end of Level 8 (Blinds: 300/600 with 600 BB Ante) and the survivors of this process advance to Day 2 which is on Sunday (November 20) starting at 1:00PM (UCT+8).
Meanwhile, the S-DST is being streamed over the APT YouTube and Twitch channels.
Presently pacing the S-DST final pack is local bet Ryan Tan with 440,000 in chips followed by Owen Yang of Singapore with 285,000 while third is occupied by Japan’s Daisuke Kurakami with 252,000.
74 entries were tallied for this popular event with the prize pool now at PhP1,076,700 (US$18,774). The eventual champion takes home PhP298,100 (US$5,198).
Meanwhile, 12 entries took part in (Event #11) the second PhP65,000 (US$1,135) Single-Day High-Rollers while still to come is (Event #12) the third Hyper Deep Stack Turbo tilt at 10:00PM.
