Main Event Day 1B at 1pm; Kai Paulsen bags the newest OFC Pineapple event

Last chance to enter the Main Event!

The Asian Poker Tour has reached the halfway mark of its first event of the year, the APT Kickoff 2017, ongoing at Resorts World Manila from January 11th-19th. The nine-day festival saw the US$1,650 APT Main Event take center stage yesterday with the final entry flight scheduled at 1pm today. The eventual champion will bring home several prizes including the coveted APT Championship Ring.

For those unfamiliar with the perks of the APT Main Event, last year a fantastic new incentive was introduced, the Main Event Bubble Protection. The incentive rewards the eligible player “one free seat to the next APT Main Event of the same value” in the event that he/she falls as the bubble.

In order to qualify, players must complete these three simple steps:

  1. Pre-register for the Main Event
  2. Draw for your seat before starting time
  3. Have your chips put into play on the first deal of round 1

Day 1A re-entry players and players going for multiple stacks, you must repeat these steps in order to be eligible.
