Main Event Day 1A ends with India’s Ritwik Khanna and Rubin Labroo up top; 23 players advance

After nine hours of scheduled play at the VSOP, the APT Summer Festival Hanoi – MAIN EVENT – bagged up Day 1A with two players from India at the helm. Ritwik Khanna amassed the larger 166,700 (208 BB) which was equivalent to over 6.6 starting stacks, and Rubin Labroo a close second with 161,400 (201 BB). Day 1A pulled in a total of 67 entries with 23 surviving to the next round. Among the fallen were decorated champions Shardul Parthasarathi, Nguyen Van Sang, and Florencio Campomanes, however they still have plenty of chances to turn it around with two more starting days to come.
