Today is going to be nothing short of exciting at the APT Korea Incheon Championships 2018! It will be the crowning moment for one of the Final 8 players of the MAIN EVENT! Here are the finalists by chip count:
Tsubasa Kamei – 1,026,000
Iori Yogo – 882,000
Daiki Horikawa – 873,000
Yosuke Murata – 567,000
Tatsuya Stu Terakawa – 483,000
Tomoharu Furuya – 420,000
Shiga Mitsuhiro – 305,000
Toshimasa Sakato – 235,000
The final roster is made up of 7 Japanese players and one from the USA. The player with the biggest advantage at the moment is Tsubasa Kamei with over a million stack. If he continues his fantastic run, he may just capture his first major international title.
In his way though is Iori Yogo, the most decorated player of the group. Yogo has a long list of achievements earned at the APT and at various international events. He will be vying for his second major APT title having won the Championships Event in Manila four months ago. Last year, Yogo finished 3rd at the same event here in Incheon so that’s an added drive for him to try and best his past finish.
Additionally, there are several players still in the running for the CoinPoker LAST MAN STANDING promo. The winner will receive a free Main Event seat to APT Philippines Championships II 2018.
The Main Event drew in 192 total entries for a prize pool of ₩186,240,000. Pieces of the pot have already been claimed in Day 3 starting at 32nd place. The largest cut is what everyone is gunning for, the ₩40,463,000 first prize. The eventual winner will also be awarded the APT Main Event Trophy and APT Championship Ring.
Final 8 begins at 130pm local time. They return with 11:36 remaining in Level 21. Blinds are 5000-10000 ante 10000. Average stack is 598,500 with 4,788,000 chips in play.

Also concluding today is the CoinPoker High Rollers event with 20 remaining. 57 players signed up, each one putting up the ₩2,150,000 buy-in for a prize pool of ₩110,580,000. Ten players will pocket some of that cash with first prize earning a healthy ₩32,229,000.
In the lead is Inotsume Kazuma who jumped in after cashing in the Main Event. He brings in a stack of 235,000. Hideyuki Inoue is in second rank with 229,000, and Daisuke Ogito in third with 227,500. Among the notable players in the field are Killian Loffler with 194,000 and Yuri Ishida with 173,500.
Another event awaiting a winner is the No Limit Hold’em 2. Last night, the money was reached with Lam Cheuk Nam delivering the bubble. The game was eventually halted once the final 8 was established. They return today in quest of the ₩8,340,000 first prize.
