Just before Dang dealt the blow to Van Dung, he lost a pot to Nguyen Thanh Nha with 9-9 outdrawn by Thanh Nha’s A-K with a king showing up on the board. Several hands later, Van Dung shoved with A♠ Q♠ and Dang called with J♥ J♠. The race ended with no hits for Van Dung sending him out.
