Catching the action on a turn board J 2 8 8 and 50k pot brewed, Chan Wei Hong checked, David Tai Hsing Hsiung bet 22k, Chan raised to 53k, Tai called. On the river J, Chan shoved around 200k, Tai tanked with only 80k behind then found the courage to make the call.

Another all in preflop with Nguyen Minh shoving with 9 9 but lost the flip to Soeren Korgo Toernquist’s A K on a board of J 10 A J 5. Soeren up to 240k.


Cao Ngoc Anh on a rush, zooms to 700k

Cao Ngoc Anh started the day with just 20 bbs, now he is at 540k after winning four consecutive pots. At the time of posting this, Cao Ngoc claimed several more big pots and is now well over 700k. He is currently the chip leader.

First hand: On a raised pot preflop, the board was 2 3 A, Timothy Goh bet 16.5k, Cao Ngoc shoved his 77k stack, Goh folded.

Second hand: Aaron Li raised to 9k, Jeong Bong Kil called, Cao Ngoc called, cutoff Low Zi Cheng three-bet to 37k, initial raiser Li folded, Jeong and Cao Ngoc called for a three-way look at the flop Q 6[3c}. Action was checked to Cheng, he c-bet 45k, Jeong called, Cao Ngoc shoved, Cheng folded, Jeong called.

Third hand: On a flop K 5 2, Nguyen Dan Long was all in with K 5, Cao Ngoc challenged with A 10, the turn 7 kept Nguyen on top but the river 9 gave Cao Ngoc the flush. Nguyen eliminated.

Fourth hand: Cao Ngoc raised to 9k, Low Zi Cheng called. At the flop A 5 6, Cao Ngoc c-bet 8k, Cheng called. On the turn J, Cao Ngoc fired another 20k, Cheng folded.

1. Nguyen Huu Duc all in with 7 7, called by Zannik Basche with 10 10. The board bricked, Nguyen eliminated. Basche up to 250k.

2. Quang Nguyen rose to 410k after raiing Antonio Martins. Board was 4 2 Q A 3. Quang held 7 8 flush, Martins 5 5 straight. All in was on the river.

3. A preflop raise war led to Harry Duong tank-calling Loo Jun Zhong’s shove. Duong held J J, Loo with A K, the board ran 9 4 6 J A. Duong climbed to 310k.
