One player raised to 4k, two spots over another shoved his short stack. This was followed by Justin Chan also all in. Everyone folded around for heads up. Chan was ahead with A K over A 10, the board ran low for Chan to ship it.


Ang Boon Seng gets lucky on Jay Tan

Level: 10 Blinds: 1000-1500 Ante: 1500

A nasty bad bead just landed on table 12. It began with Jay Tan raising to 3k, three bet to 7500 by button player Ang Boon Seng, called by Tan. On the flop 3 A 4, Tan checked, Ang fired 9k, Tan raised to 21.5k, Ang three-bet to 64k, Tan shoved her big stack, Ang called for his tournament life.

The turn and river came down A and J to shock the everyone at the table for a runner runner full house to Ang. He doubled up to 186k. Tan dropped to 68k.


Mark Gruendemann gets Teh to pay his boat

Level: 10 Blinds: 1000-1500 Ante: 1500

Preflop action had Mark Gruendemann raise to 3500, bb Natalie Teh called. On the flop A 9 A and 10 turn, both players checked. On the 5 river, Gruendemann bet 5k, Teh check-called. Gruendemann shows his A 10 full house.


Mark Reyes below 120k

The day’s entering chip leader, Mark Reyes, is well below what he started with today of 367,200. He now sits with 118k though we’re not sure how he lost it. We did see him lose a pot though to Lee Kun Han.

With 12k in the middle and a flop 10 Q 8, Lee checked, Reyes bet 20.5k, Lee called. On the 6 turn, action was the same with Lee check-calling an 18k bet. The river 2 saw no bets. Lee showed 9 9, Reyes mucked.


Ben Lai goes to war with Jacky Wong

One of the day’s entering chip leaders, Ben Lai, has accumulated quite the stack since the start of Day 2. He picked up more in a hand against Jacky Wong. It began with cutoff Wong raising to 3500, called by Lai in the big blind.

At the flop 9 7 2, Lai checked, Wong c-bet 4k, Lai raised to 12k, Wong three-bet to 25k, Lai four-bet 60k, Wong folded. Lai over 400k.
