It was a preflop raise war going on at a far table with both John Tech and Tan Shi Jie aka Justinian all in. Tech had ace-king and needed to get lucky against Justinian’s pocket kings. The board bricked and Justinian landed a double up while Tech spiraled downward to 3k.
With a pot of 4k before them and a board of A♠ J♥ 10♥, the big blind player and Dave Erquiaga checked to get a free turn of Q♣. The bb player checked again while Erquiaga bet 2200. It was called and to the river they went with a 9♠ landing on the board. The bb player changed gears and bet out 4k of his chips which Erquiaga soon called. It was good call for Erquiaga as he won the hand with 9♥ 9♦ for a set.
Kicking off this hand was Sotiris Axiotiadis with a three-bet to 1400. The initial raiser called and the board ran 7♠ 6♥ K♠. Sotiris checked then called a 1500 bet. At the turn of 5♠, Sotiris checked again then called a 1600 bet. On the river, Sotiris checked hoping for a bet however it was also checked and Sotiris won with his K♥ K♣ full house.

Jamie Avila and Edilberto Gopez tangled in a pot that saw both players all in at the turn board of K♠ 4♠ 5♣ 10♥. Gopez had Q♠ 9♠ for flush draw / gut shot straight draw while Avila had K♦ Q♦ top pair. The river of 2♦ kept Avila on top as Gopez missed his outs and was all out. Avila climbed to around 48k.
Ben Martin was fresh from winning a hand got right back into it by three-betting a 300 raise to make it 1400. He was called the initial raiser and they went to see a flop land 2♠ 4♥ 5♣. Martin started with a bet of 2200, got raised to 5500, and Martin called. At the turn of K♦, both players checked and the dealer opened the river card of J♦. Martin led for 6500 and with that, he won the pot without any further challenge.
On a board of 10♣ 7♣ Q♠, Ben Martin kicked off the round with a 1200 bet. Seung Soo Jeon and Yu Kurita called and they all went to see the turn of 7♥. Martin was first to act again and he led out for 3500. This time, Jeon folded while Kurita stayed with him and called. On the river of K♠, Martin laid out a bigger continuation bet, 7500 total. This was good for the pot with Kurita opting to fold. Martin now has over 40k.
On a board of 3♦ 4♥ 5♥, the big blind player shoved at the rag board only to hear a quick call from Sebastian Benz. With the hole cards then revealed, Benz was way ahead with A♥ 2♦ straight against K♣ 9♥. The turn and river were no help to the bb player and Benz sent him to the rail.
Ahn Seong Hwan just won a good pot in a hand that we caught here A♠ 9♣ 7♣ 2♥. Cutoff player checked to Hwan on the button who dropped 3600 into the pot. Hwan was called and the dealer felted a Q♣ river card. Cutoff initiated the action and bet 5k which Hwan matched. Hwan won the hand with his A♣ 10♠ top pair against the other’s J♦ 9♦ mid pair. Hwan now up to 35k.
