Sapitavicius gets a much needed double up

Preflop action led to Arunas Sapitavicius and Yen Yau Shern in a raised pot with each contributing 20k. The flop landed K 6 2 and Sapitavicius threw in his last 1300 chips. Yau called and Sapitavicius was ahead with king-queen against Yau’s ace-ten. The turn and river were no help to Yau and Sapitavicius doubled up.


Lee doubled up by Sayo

Needing to gather more chips, Tommy Lee went all in on top of Lee Jongyeol’s raise of 5100. Lee folded while John Sayo, who called Lee’s raise, now had something to ponder on. After a chip count, he called and it was a showdown. Lee had pocket jacks and Sayo had ace-ten. The board bricked and Lee doubled up.


Giam’s aces eliminate Iwakura

With the flop intact 10 8 6, Hajime Iwakura was all in and Jeremy Giam was there to make the quick call. Iwakura had 10 9 for top pair and a gut shot draw while Giam had A A. The turn of J and river of J kept Giam on top and he eliminated Iwakura from the field.


Lim muscles Casey for the pot

Daniel Lim goes head to head for a pot against Gerald Casey. The flop was already on board 4 3 A. Both players checked and the dealer turned A on fourth street. Casey checked, Lim bet 15k, and Casey called. On the river of A, Casey checked again, Lim bet 60k, and with that Lim won without any further challenge. Casey showed his 4.


Liank shaves some off Lee

Tommy Lee’s stack got a shaving in a hand against Wong Pol Liank. Lee raised to 5k preflop and Liank went all in for 15.9k. Lee called and it was a showdown. Lee had K Q and Liank had Q Q. The board delivered bricks for Lee and Liank doubled up.


Giam calls Yogo’s big raise preflop

On a board of A 8 10, Iori Yogo checked to Jeremy Giam who bet 5k. Yogo responded with a raise to 15k and Giam called. At the turn of 8 and river of 9, they both slowed down and checked to each other. Yogo showed a ten for mid pair while Giam showed A 7 for top pair.


Decent pot for Lee with big slick

Jongyeol Lee and Ying Lim Chua had a go at a pot. Chua raised to 5k, Lee three-bet to 12k, and Chua flat-called. At the flop of K 10 2, Lee led out for 15k and scooped the pot with a fold from Chua. Lee showed his A K.


Gaw beefing up his stack

Action preflop began with Jeremy Giam raising to 5k and getting called by Andrew Gaw, followed by a re-raise to 13k by Dennis Philips. Giam folded and with towers of chips in front of him, Gaw called. At the flop of 9 9 7, both players checked. On the turn of Q, they did the same. Then on the river of J, Philips checked once more while Gaw bet 15k. Philips folded and Gaw added more to his beefy stack.
